About the Event

We are thrilled to invite you to a one-of-a-kind event on Friday, April 16, 2021, from 6 to 9 p.m., at The Rosemary.

The Steven Spielberg thriller “Bridge of Spies,” starring Tom Hanks will be featured. Gary Powers, historian and author will be providing commentary.

Attendees will participate in a meet and greet with Gary Powers, as he shares inside information about the downing of the CIA U-2 spy plane, which was piloted by his father, Francis Gary Powers. He will divulge how his father’s mission impacted the Cold War and the building of the Berlin Wall.

The evening will conclude with a book signing.

For a $15 donation at the door, patrons will be able to experience history and enjoy a selection of hors-d'oeuvres, wine and beer.

This special event is in partnership with Outdoor Arts Foundation & The Freedom Pavilion, the new home of The Lost Art of the Berlin Wall.

Seating is limited so RSVP is required.
